Cathrine Hammel founded her eponymous label in 1997. The Norwegian brand, based in Oslo, has since then developed into an elegant fashion house with keynotes as functionality, simplicity and craftmanship.

Designer Cathrine Hammel grew up in Norway and was artistically influenced by her grandparents; her grandmother specialised in arts and crafts, while her grandfather was an architect from the Bauhaus School.
