Richard J. Brown was founded in 2007. In 2014 denim insider Christian Rossi bought the company and took the lead together with his partner in life Silvia, who since then, is also his business partner. He was already an important player in the jeans sector when they started a corporate makeover of the brand by focusing on restyling its brand identity. Together they created a new identity for the brand in order to grow internationally. For Richard J. Brown, trousers are not simply jeans, but a sartorial garment. The jeans are distinguished by the quality of the fabrics sourced, chosen and specifically created, in addition to original details. Richard J. Brown focuses on functionality so it can be worn during formal and informal occasions, as it is urban as well as versatile and personal.

The hand stitching on the back pockets, which are sewn by expert embroiderers with fine coloured yarns, make RJB trousers unique. All trousers feature a suede or leather square with an embossed or galvanized metal logo. The brand stands for research, quality and knowledge. According to Richard J. Brown essence is the same as appearance, as it is very important what caresses your skin.
