Caliban was founded by Angelo and Teresa, who started a small tailoring shop in the Italian countryside in 1979. Here, in Pontevico, they created their first shirt for men, and this is where the headquarters and production are still located today. The first women's collection was launched in 2000: strongly inspired by men's shirts, but extremely feminine thanks to the materials and shapes. The versatile line for women focuses on comfortable and elegant designs: from the classic shirt in cotton to linen shirt dresses and silk blouses. Each creation shows unique details, such as ruffles along the neckline, layered silhouettes and a playful approach to asymmetrical lengths.
