We sat down with Giulia Acchiardi, founder of Harris Wharf London, and asked her how the current worldwide situation is affecting the London-based brand. What are her favourite pieces to wear these days and what would she recommend to wear when working from home? Read along for an update of the contemporary outerwear brand.
How are you doing?
Very well, thank you. I am doing my best to cope with this new situation.
How is the current worldwide situation influencing your daily routine?
I think the current worldwide situation accelerated the way we use technology. Now I got more used to shop online, meet other people virtually, even when it comes to show collection previews from our showroom!
What is your favourite collector’s item (in terms of art/interior) at home and why?
My favourite piece at home is a Christofle vase designed by Gio Ponti. It has a perfect sense of proportion and balance.
What are your wardrobe essentials?
A long-vented coat, a white collarless shirt, and high waisted indigo jeans.

What style advice would you give to people who are working from home?
Find your routine and stick to it. I find repeating the same rituals every day make my life easier and less stressful.
What do you think when you see someone dressed in Harris Wharf London?
Wait, I know that one!
What essential should every woman own?
A golden brooch. Perfect on a navy lapel of a coat.
