100 Hands
The story behind the brand
100 Hands is a brand that is completely dedicated to creating shirts, led by Akshat and Varvara from their headquarters in Amsterdam, with production in Amritsar, India, managed by Akshat’s brother. This family-owned textile company has been spinning cotton for six generations, primarily in the yarn trade. Although the shirt production in Amritsar started small, it has grown to a company with 140 employees, 40% men and 60% women. They provide education to many trainees and ensure good working conditions, comparable to established brands such as Kiton. A shirt takes 1.5 days to make by skilled artisans, which reflects their dedication to quality and traditional craftsmanship. They produce only 55 shirts daily, emphasizing precision through handmade techniques such as hand-stitched patterns and fine finishing details.
