Orders are shipped with PostNL or UPS. Packages are normally delivered to the specified shipping address the next working day. If the package does not fit through the letterbox, a signature is required.
If you are not able to receive the package, PostNL or UPS will try to deliver the package to your neighbors. If this does not work, the courier will leave a message for you. The driver will then come again the next day with your package. It may also be the case that the package is taken directly to a PostNL point or UPS location near you during a second delivery attempt. You will receive a message about this from the courier. Is it also not possible to deliver your order the second time? PostNL or UPS will then store your package at a location near you, where you can pick it up when it suits you. When collecting the package, a valid ID will be requested.
Returns
1. Register your exchange* or return via our online portal at pauw.returnista.com
2. Place the items back in the box of the original packaging. For shipments outside the European Union, also attach the commercial invoice to the outside of the box.
3. Send your package according to the method chosen in the portal.
4. We will refund the purchase amount within 7 days of receipt.
*If you opt for an exchange, it will be shipped as soon as the original order is returned to our distribution center.
We will refund your purchase amount within 7 days of receipt in the same way as your payment. You will receive an email for confirmation. Original shipping costs of the order will not be reimbursed.
You can also follow the above procedure to create a return shipment. Please note that when shipping to the European Union, it is mandatory to attach documentation to the outside of the package. After creating your return, the documentation is automatically generated for you. For orders delivered to an address outside the European Union, the refund only consists of the purchase price of the items. This means that the return amount does not include shipping costs, local taxes and import duties. The reason for this is that the last two have been advanced by us to the local tax office and only you, as an importer, are entitled to claim a refund of these costs.
Should you wish to claim a refund of the local taxes and import duties paid, you must contact a local postal and/or customs office. Pauw is not liable for these costs.

Pauw accepts American Express, Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, V Pay, Ideal, PayPal, Apple Pay, Bancontact and Giropay as official payment methods.
After receiving your return, we will refund the purchase amount within 7 working days via the chosen payment method.
Pauw naturally takes measures to ensure that your data is safe. Sensitive information that you provide is transferred using Secure Socket Layer technology (SSL). SSL encrypts your information to protect it from unauthorized use. Pauw works closely with Adyen in this. In addition to the secure transfer of payments, Adyen also manages refunds and other payment-related matters.
taxes and import duties
For orders with a shipping address located within the EU, a VAT percentage of 21% is included in the prices shown. Shipping costs are automatically generated at checkout, after entering the shipping address.
Online orders within the EU are free of import duties and local taxes.
For orders over £135, import duties and taxes will be charged upon delivery. Please note that the total costs may add approximately 30% to the original price of goods. Import duties by UK Customs may vary depending on what it is, what material it is made of and the declared value. VAT is charged by Pauw B.V. is not charged and is collected at the point of import (this is known as 'Import VAT' and is charged at the applicable rate). In addition, processing fees will be charged by the local courier companies.

For orders to a United States address, orders up to $800 (including shipping costs) are free of import duties.
All orders over this amount may be subject to import duties and additional charges.
For returns for orders delivered to an address within the United States, the refund will only consist of the purchase price of the items. This means that the return amount does not include shipping costs, local taxes and import duties.
If you wish to claim a refund of local taxes and import duties paid, you must contact a local UPS and/or customs office.
For orders with a shipping address outside the EU, we offer the additional service of VAT-free shopping. When you visit the website from a country outside the EU, the prices are automatically shown excluding VAT. Shipping costs are generated at checkout, after entering the shipping address.
Online orders outside the EU may be subject to import duties, additional costs and local taxes depending on the destination chosen and the product ordered. If you would like to gain more insight into this, we advise you to contact the customs office of the country in question.
