According to Adriano Goldschmied, also known as the godfather of denim, there are a few things to keep in mind when looking for the perfect pair of jeans. The fit must be impeccable, and the fabric must feel comfortable and soft. "The jeans should look like they have been lived-in. The fading, whiskering, and distressing all need to look authentic - like they happened over time from natural wear and tear," says Sandy Oh, senior designer at AG.
The Mari High Rise Cigarette
The Mari has a high-waisted, snug fit around the hips, straight legs and subtle tapered, ankle-length ends. The raw finish of the hems in combination with the light denim wash give this style a unique vintage appearance. This model is made of Japanese denim, in a blend of cotton and lyocell, with super stretch.
The Harper
This straight model is designed in a lightweight denim blend with a hint of a stretch for a classic, sophisticated look. The jean has a slim fit, anmedium-high waist with straight legs and is uniquely distressed for a vintage look. The strategically denim wash and comfortable fit make this one of the most popular AG models.
The Ex-Boyfriend Slim Jeans
This loose model has a high waist and slouchy fit. The folded ends have an ankle length and are tapered for a slimming effect. The Ex-Boyfriend jean is designed in an exclusive non-stretch denim with an ultra-soft touch that only ages better with wear. This model gives your outfit an edgy feel and combines beautifully with an iconic Pauw blazer and heels.
The Super Skinny Legging Ankle
The skinny jean is one of the signature models in the AG collection. The Legging Ankle is designed in this distinctive fit, but has a shorter ankle length and medium-high waist. The Japanese denim with extra stretch is made in a luxurious cotton blend and tightly hugs the contours of the body.
